Home workouts from InTouch Crossfit

Try out home workouts for all the family brought to you by our club sponsors InTouch Crossfit...

While we are on lockdown and not able to run around outside, our club sponsors InTouch Crossfit have been kind enough to share their weekly workouts with us.

If you want to still keep fit and active while at home then head over to our instagram and twitter pages where we will be posting daily workouts for all the family. The workouts are at different levels for all ages, so select which one is appropriate for you and give it a go.

If you give it a try all we ask is that you give us both a follow and tag us @old_emanuel_rfc and @intouchcrossfit.

What has been suggested, is kids follow the Masters version of the workout, which is lowest rep range and easiest movement patterns. We have added this as a note on the front page where there is an outline of the terminology, and the workout levels (each workout has 3 levels based on fitness/ability).

Some workouts are longer so kids may get a bit bored, but we've said to parents to play the workouts by ear and just see how they go. Most with a bit of training experience do fine.

If you don't have weights at home some ideas have included:
- Shopping bag with potatoes to replicate kettlebell
- Tin cans for dumbbells for shoulder press, etc
- Very tolerant dog or baby for goblet squats
